Egyptian FM’s remarks due to difficult domestic situation
Tehran, Nov 27, IRNA – An informed source in the Iranian Foreign Ministry said the recent remarks of Eypitan Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul-Gheit on Iran’s ties with regional Arab states were inspired by the difficult domestic situation.
He said the remarks aimed at diverting the international public opinion from repeated violations of people’s basic rights in Egypt.
The source further advised the Egyptian foreign minister to focus more on ways of enhancing unity within the Islamic world and protecting security and rights of Egypt which are repeatedly violated by the Zionist regime rather than pursuing the interests and colonial plans of evil powers in the region which aim at sowing discord among Muslim countries.
He also noted that the powerful countries of the Persian Gulf region did possess the necessary capabilities to safeguard their security and interests in the region and it was only them who had the eligibility to comment on these issues./end
