FOREIGN MINISTRY RELEASES STATEMENT

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ "Mongolia is deeply regrets that on November 23 this year in the Yellow Sea took place artillery firing, many were killed, and material damage was caused," says a press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia in its statement.
"As Mongolia considers, in order to preserve and ensure peace and security on the Korean peninsula and in the region, the parties are possible to settle disputes arisen through negotiations.
"The Government of Mongolia is grateful to the Government of the Republic of Korea for its attention being paid to living on the S.Korean Yonphyong Islet citizens of Mongolia," says the statement issued November 24.
