KHURELSUKH GIVES A BRIEF TO MEDIA

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Secretary-General of the Mongolian People's Party /MPP/ U.Khurelsukh and the party's other secretaries gave a briefing to the media on Wednesdasy.
At the beginning of the meeting Khurelsukh said after the party restored its original name at the 26th Congress of the Party, received certificate ¹ 1 from the Supreme Court, and officially registered the new name "Mongolian People's Party" in the Socialist International. Under its old name, the party was some ten years a member of the Socialist International, which unites political parties' organization of 170 countries. "Registering the new name, a Secretary-General of the SocIntern Luis Ayala said that an ability to feel a pulse of time is an indicator of the potential and the rating of a political party," he said.
Then he answered questions, most of which touched upon an establishment by some members of the Interim Committee of the Party who are against restoring the original name of the party.
"The Mongolian People's Party is the legitimate origin and continuation of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party /MPRP/. The action of some members as to form a provisional committee of MPRP, headed by Ts.Shinebayar MP is the illegal one that violates both the law and the party's charter, so I want to tell all not to tolerate their instigation," he stressed and informed that the leadership of MPP warned Ts.Shinebayar against running such illegal actions.
Referring to the fact that this issue has been considered by the MPP's revision Committee, Khurelsukh did not preclude a possibility of MPP's filing a lawsuit in court.
