Kazakhstan ends WTO accession talks with US.

ASTANA, November 23 (Itar-Tass) - Kazakhstan has ended the talks with
the United States on accession to the World Trade Organization.

"Kazakhstan's Economic Development and Trade Minister Zhanar Aytzhanov
and U.S. Trade Representative Michael Punke have signed the document on
the end of the negotiations on the market access for goods within the
framework of Kazakhstan's WTO accession," the press service of the Kazakh
Economic Development and Trade Ministry said on Tuesday.
The negotiations on customs duties on the whole list of goods had been
on for several years and proved to be the tensest ones.
The Economic Development and Trade Ministry noted that the United
States is one of the republic's main trade partners and the end of the
negotiations on the market access for goods is an important step towards
the WTO accession.
