Al-Attiyah commends Yemen well organization for 20th Gulf Cup
ADEN, Nov. 22 (Saba)- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdul Rahman al-Attiyah praised on Monday the level of organization of Yemen for the 20th Gulf Cup as well as the level of attendance of all sectors and Gulf member states, in addition to the Yemeni masses.
In a statement to Saba, he noted that this organization indicates efforts exerted
under the auspicious of President Ali Abdullah Saleh to make this historical event
take
place in Yemen.
Al-Attiyah affirmed that there is no worry security-wise of Yemen hosting this
tournament.
Yemen has overcome challenges to host this championship through providing stadiums
and sport facilities, he said, noting that we are just waiting for the last
whistling
to grant the cup for the best participating team.
