CANADIAN MEMBERS DISCUSS CIVIL SERVICE
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Within the Memoranda of Understanding /MOU/ designed to exchange information and experience on reform between Canada's Public Service Commission and the Civil Service Council of Mongolia, members of the Canadian House of Commons Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development have discussed problems on Civil Service Council of Mongolia and cooperation on Civil Service Councils of Mongolia and Canada.
The memoranda was signed during the visit of the Prime Minister of Mongolia, S.Batbold to Canada from September 27 to October 1. At the above discussion, video statements from the Minister of Minerals and Energy, Member of Parliament, Head of the Mongolian delegates in "Roundtable meeting" between Mongolia and Canada, D. Zorigt, and the Chairman of Mongolian Civil Service Council, D. Zumberellkham were shown to Canadian members. In addition, Mongolia's Ambassador to Canada T.Zalaa-Uul participated in the discussion and addressed the members of the Canadian Parliament.
The Canadian members discussed a possibility of implementing projects in the Mongolian civil service which will be supported by the Canadian Executive Service Organization, Center for Trade Policy and Law.
