ACIC chairman meets Silatech advisor

ADEN, Aug. 05 (Saba)- Chairman of Aden Commercial and Industrial Chamber Mohammed BaMashmos held on Tuesday a meeting with advisor of Qatari Silatech program, a global initiative designed to help youth around the world find meaningful employment.

BaMashmos said that the chamber is supporting programs and plans targeted youths to
create jobs for them and improving their conditions and life.

He called on all for gathering efforts to remove all obstacle facing the Qatari
initiative in combating unemployment among Arab youths For his part, the Silatech
advisor praised efforts of Yemen in supporting the initiative.

Silatech is a bold new initiative engaging the public, private and civil society
sectors to promote large-scale job creation, entrepreneurship and access to capital
and markets for young people.

The initiative aims to offset the lack of economic opportunity and social
marginalization of young people throughout the Arab world by enabling systemic
changes in enterprise development, employment practices, policy and access for young
people at regional and country levels.

It is chaired by Her Highness Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser Al Missned.
