US turns Korean Peninsula into it aggressive strategy range-paper

PYONGYANG, November 19 (Itar-Tass) - The United States has turned the
Korean Peninsula "into the main range for the implementation of its
strategy aimed at achieving global domination through military force," it
is said in a commentary published by the Rodong Sinmun - central party
newspaper of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Friday.
The publication stresses that Washington is now obstructing the
unification of the two Koreas and "contributes to heightening of tensions
between the North and South." The United States has turned South Korea
into its military base and is hatching aggressive plans, as a result of
which "the situation on the Korean Peninsula is on the brink of war,"
notes the publication.
The policy of the United States, which increases its military
spending, modernises weapons, including nuclear, creates new military
bases and conducts endless manoeuvres, indicates that Washington "is going
to achieve its goals through aggression and war," believes Rodong Sinmun.
