MONITORING CENSUS BEGINS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ According to the recommendation of the UN, Mongolia begun a Population and Housing monitoring census November 19. It will continue untill November 21.
The assessment of the Population and Housing census is based on control and monitoring of census. The latter is a separate independent method of evaluation during which enumerators will count at random Mongolia's citizens at their permanent addresses, also foreign citizens and stateless ones who have from competent agencies permission to stay in Mongolia for a period of more than 183 days.
The monitoring is to cover all provinces of the country and all districts of the capital city.
