MONGOLIAN FIRST LADY IN JAPAN

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Within the state visit of Mongolia's President to Japan, the First Lady of Mongolia
Kh.Bolormaa has visited an orphanage and learned about the activities of some medical institutions of Tokyo.
For the First lady the Japanese side has developed special programs aimed at improving education and health, including women and children, as well as the intensification of the Mongolian-Japanese cooperation. Under this program, the spouse of the President, Bolormaa visited the United Clinic "Sayseykay"and a children's orphanage called "Shisey Gakuen" in Tokyo.
One of the oldest orphanage "Shisey Gakuen” is established in 1927 and gives a shletr to those children whose parents are deprived of parental rights, or who are abandoned by parents or are victims of violence of all forms. The activities of this orphanage have similar features with a "Bolor" foundation headed by the Mongolian First Lady Bolormaa.
The "Shisey Gakuen" orphanage is financed by the monetary support from the Government and the Municipality of Tokyo as well as by funds donated by citizens.
The First Lady Bolormaa also plans to visit the Cancer Center of Shizuoka Prefecture, where a Memorandum of cooperation will be inked between the "Faith: Mongolia Without Cancer" NGO and this Cancer Center.
Kh. Bolormaa has established the "Faith: Mongolia without Cancer" NGO with aims to promote a fight against cancer.
