MONGOLIAN PRESIDENT MEETS JAPANESE EMPEROR

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The President of Mongolia, Ts.Elbegdorj and his spouse Kh.Bolormaa has paid a courtesy call on the Emperor of Japan Akihito, Empress of Japan Michiko.
The President said he is happy to meet with His Majesty and conveyed him and all Japanese people greetings from the people of Mongolia. He expressed a satisfaction with the deepening of the Mongolian-Japanese ties and cooperation.
Mr. Elbegdorj said that as part of his visit, he intends to exchange with Japan's Premier Naoto Kan the views on elevating the Mongolian-Japanese relations into a new level. He then invited the Emperor of Japan and his spouse to visit Mongolia at a time convenient for them.
His Majesty Akihito wished success to the visit of the President of Mongolia, questioned him about the nature, climate, technology, winter in Mongolia and the Mongolian sumo and wished prosperity and progress.
After the meeting, the Emperor of Japan gave the President of Mongolia and his spouse a banquet in their honor.
