MONGOLIA WINS MEDALS AT GUANZHOU
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ At the Asian Games in Guangzhou, female snipers team of Mongolia won a silver medal in the discipline of sport shooting at a distance of 25 meters Tuesday.
In the team standings in this category were the Hero of Labor of Mongolia O.Gundegmaa, and master of international class
Ts.Munhzul and T.Bayartsetseg. They scored 1,725 points and won this silver. First place went to snipers from Kazakhstan who scored 1,731 points and a third place--to athletes from South Korea.
On the last day of judo competitions, our athletes won three bronze medals. In the Open category for women a Mongolian
D.Tserenhand won a duel with an athlete from Kyrgyzstan grabbing a bronze, and judoist B.Bat-Erdene demonstrated a clear victory over Kazakhstan's Alexandr Podryadov managing to reach the pedestal of bronze. H.Munhbaatar won the bronze medal as well.
Thus, our national team wins two silver and five bronze medals, and with this number it goes on the 15th position so far.
