Palestinian Premier to visit Yemen next Friday
SANA'A, Aug 6 (Saba) - Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad is due to pay an official three-day visit to Yemen next Friday.
Well-informed sources said on Monday to the state-run 26sep.net that Fayyad is expected to review with Yemeni officials the latest developments in Palestine.
The visit also aims at discussing means of activating the Yemeni initiative to end the conflict between the Palestinian factions.
The sources pointed out that Fayyad would hold talks with his counterpart Ali Mohammad Mujawar over a number of issues of the common interests.
During the visit, the two sides would sign an agreement to form a high committee co-chaired by the Yemeni and Palestinian Premiers in addition to a number of agreements in economic and technical fields, according to the sources.
