‘Administration has allayed MPs’ concerns about subsidy reform plan’
TEHRAN, Nov. 16 (MNA) -- The administration allayed all the concerns of MPs about the subsidy reform plan, Majlis Presiding Board spokesman Mohsen Kouhkan said on Monday.
Pointing to the president’s comprehensive explanations about the subsidy reform plan, Kouhkan said the administration has made sound projections.
The president’s explanations about the details of the subsidy reform plan allayed all the concerns of the MPs, he added.
On Sunday, the Majlis and the administration held a meeting on the request of the administration, in which the Majlis speaker provided a brief report about the parliament’s activities and the Fifth Five-Year Development Plan.
The president and cabinet ministers also explained the administration’s plans for the implementation of the subsidy reform plan.
Iran’s Fifth Five-Year Development Plan (2010-2015) is part of the 20-Year Outlook Plan (2005-2025), which is the country’s main blueprint for long-term sustainable growth.
