PRESIDENT'S VISIT TO JAPAN STARTED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On Monday, the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj with his spouse Kh.Bolormaa left for Japan to pay a state visit. The State head is accompanied by Minister of foreign affairs G.Zandanshatar, Defence minister L.Bold, Finance minister S.Bayartsogt, chairman of Mongolia-Japan inter-parliamentary group in the Great State Khural D.Gankhuyag, vice- chairman of the group Su.Batbold, MPs Z. Altai and D.Batbayar, and Ambassador of Mongolia to Japan R.Jigjid and others.
During his visit, the President will have an audience with Emperor Akihito, will conduct negotiations with Japanese Prime- Minister, meet with the chairmen of the two chambers of the Japanese parliament.
He will also give a speech at the Japanese parliament. The President is planning to give a lecture at the University of Tokyo and to participate in the opening ceremony of Mongolia-Japan business forum. Meeting with compatriots living in Japan is also included into the visit programme.
