Relations with neighboring states, a priority: Mottaki
Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said here on Sunday that promotion of relations with neighboring states enjoys a priority in the country’s foreign policy activities.
He made the remark while addressing the inaugural session of a seminar of the Islamic Republic of Iran's representatives in the neighboring states.
Mottaki underlined the need for establishment of appropriate relations with all neighboring countries.
Referring to Iran’s great potentials in different political, economic, cultural and tourism areas, the Iranian foreign minister voiced the Islamic Republic’s readiness to have interaction with all countries across the region.
The main objective of the ongoing seminar is to study avenues for bolstering all-out relations among the regional countries.
Introducing Iran’s strategic position as well as its potentials for transit of the neighboring states’ products to international markets is among other objectives of the gathering.
