MONGOLIAN AMBASSADOR PRESENTS CREDENTIALS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On November 5, the Ambassador of Mongolia to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri - Lanka V.Enkhbold presented his Letter of Credence to the President of this country Mahinda Rajapaksa.
At the meeting held after the ceremony, the dignitaries spoke shortly about the current situation of the bilateral relations.
The same day, Mongolia's Ambassador met with Sri-Lanka's minister of economic development and the head of the Committee in Colombo city to share views on the possibilities and perspectives of expanding the economic, cultural and scientific relations.
Diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Sri-Lanka established in 1962. Sri-Lanka was one of the first countries to support Mongolia's seeking membership in the United Nations.
