Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art hosted exhibition of Japanese culture
Baku, November 11 (AzerTAc). The Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art and Japanese embassy have today organized the “Japanese Day” exhibition
The aim of the exhibition is to introduce students to Japanese culture through dolls, calligraphy and origami.
Addressing to the event, rector of the University, professor Timuchin Afandiyev spoke of Azerbaijan-Japan relations, as well as the university`s international ties.
Afandiyev stressed the importance of development of relations between universities of the two countries.
The rector also wished successes to newly appointed Japanese ambassador to the country Shusuke Watanabe in his future diplomatic activity.
The ambassador underlined he will do his best to expand all-round relations between the two countries during his tenure.
The attendees also watched a film on the ancient Japanese culture.
