Mottaki urges expansion of Iran-Uzbekistan relations
Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki here on Monday called for further expansion of Iran-Uzbekistan relations and cooperation given the existing extensive capacities of both countries.
In a meeting with his Uzbek counterpart Vladimir Nurev, who is here to attend the ministerial conference of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD), Mottaki said regional countries have the capacity to expand transportation and transit cooperation.
Nurev for his part called for mutual economic and transportation cooperation, saying his country is ready to attend the joint economic commission session.
