TURKISH DEFENSE MINISTER WILL ARRIVE
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A delegation led by the Defense Minister of Turkey Vecdi Gonul will pay an official visit to Mongolia at invitation of the Defense Minister of Mongolia L.Bold November 9-11.
The official ties in the defence sector began in 1999 by signing an agreement between Governments of Mongolian and Turkey. Since that year Mongolia established official relation's with Turkey in military sector.
Mr. Vecdi Gonul was a vice-minister of domestic affairs of Turkey, governor of Izmir, president of the Public Spending Authority--the country's highest authority on public finance, member of parliament, Vice-speaker of parliament and in 2007 was elected again the defense minister.
The sides are supposed to negotiate the cooperation issues, sign a Mongolia-Turkey intergovernmental agreement on military non-refundable aid and call press conference.
The Turkish Minister is to be received by Mongolia's President, Commander-in-Chief Ts.Elbegdorj.
