EXHIBITION "AUTUMN-2010" GOES ON

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ These days, the annual "Autumn" exhibition, traditionnally hosted by the Union of Mongolian Artists, is continuing its work. Opened Monday in the Exhibition Hall of the Union, the exhibition will last two weeks with presenting the 2010 works by Mongolian artists, and the best painting being selected for awards.
Among some 170 works by more than 140 professional artists, this year's best ones have been recognized the "Summer of white stupa" painted by D.Badam, "Force of attraction" sculpture by A.Ochirbold, "Balance" leather art work by T.Battulga.
The exhibition gives visitors a good opportunity to experience a harmony of traditional and modern trends of the fine art. A peculiarity of this year's creations is that a greater emphasize has been given to environmental, ecological and social problems, the art critics say.
