PRESIDENT TO RECEIVE 2008 ASIAN SCIENCE CAMP PARTICIPANTS
Sanur, Aug 4 (ANTARA) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono was scheduled to receive students participating in the 2008 Asian Science Camp contest at the state palace here on Tuesday.
"The students and five Nobel Prize Laureates will have a meeting and dialogues with the president," Culture and Tourism Minister Jero Wacik said here on Sunday.
Earlier, the Asian Science camp was officially inaugurated by the president on Monday (Aug 4). But because of his hectic program, the head of state could only receive them on Tuesday (Aug 5) in the company of National Education Minister Bambang Sudibyo.
The 2008 Asean Science Camp (ASC) is held in Sanur, Bali, on August 3-9 with the participation of 400 students from throughout Asia and five Nobel Prize Laureates.
