Two arms caches found in nursery school, Kyrgyzstan.

BISHKEK, November 5 (Itar-Tass) -- Two caches with weapons and
munitions have been found on the territory of a nursery school in the city
of Uzgen, a district centre in the Osh Region of Kyrgyzstan, a
representative of the press centre of the National Security Service of
Kyrgyzstan told Itar-Tass on Friday.
"During a search operation our men together with a sapper group of the
South-Western Regional Command of the Defence Ministry found two caches
with fire arms and munitions on the territory of a nursery school in the
city of Uzgen," the official said. According to his information, officers
of the security service found in one of the arms caches a smooth-bore
rifle of the 12th calibre, four cartridges for it, three daggers and two
metal clubs.
"Another arms cache was found during a further inspection of the
territory of the nursery school. It contained two bags and seven bottles
with explosives, which were ready for use, as well as 60 home-made missile
weapons with nails sticking out of them," the official continued.
Criminal proceedings were instituted on the case. The ballistic and
explosive examinations will be conducted. Investigators are working to
establish whom the arms and munitions belonged to.
