Two women stabbed after crash
Two women were stabbed in an altercation and an elderly man was nearly run over in
an incident at a home west of Brisbane.
Police were called to an Argyle Street home at Redbank Plains around 5.15pm (AEST)
on Friday.
A police spokeswoman said a woman in her 40s is believed to have driven her car into
a parked vehicle, nearly hitting a man in his 60s, at the home. The man received
minor injuries.
She said after the crash, the female driver got out of the car and fought with
another woman, stabbing her in the back.
The woman is then believed to have stabbed herself in the chest.
Both women were transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with non-life
threatening injuries.
