PRESIDENT ATTENDS FAREWELL CEREMONY FOR ATHLETES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ An official send-off ceremony for Mongolia's national team who are to take part in the 16th Asian Games ran Friday in the main office of Mongolia's National Olympic Commitee. The Games will start in November 12 in Guangzhou city, China.
To attend the farewel ceremony has come an official delegation led by President Ts.Ebegdorj and consisted of Mr
Ch.Naranbaatar, head of the State Committee of Physical Culture and Sports, and E.Munkh-Ochir MP. The Head of State has wished the team brilliant succes and good luck and has handed over the National flag of Mongolia to the team leaders E.Munkh-Ochir and Honoured sportsman P.Serdamba.
The "Guangzhou-2010" games will run in 40 disciplines for 476 complete sets of medals. As many as 330 athletes representing the country will compete in 28 disciplines.
