Ukrainian MP of Azerbaijani background becomes mayor of Kremenchug

Kiev, November 2 (AzerTAc). Ukraine`s MP of Azerbaijani descent, President of FC Vorskla (Poltava) Oleg Babayev has been elected as mayor of the Ukrainian city of Kremenchug at the 31 October local elections.
The incumbent mayor Nikolay Glukhov congratulated Babayev and wished him every success during his tenure.
