Final Kyrgyz elections results announced.

BISHKEK, November 1 (Itar-Tass) - Five parties will form Kyrgyzstan's
parliament, the chairman of the central election commission, Akylbek
Sariyev, said on Monday announcing the final results of the October 10
parliamentary elections.
Five parties passed a five percent threshold. Ata-Zhurt will get 28
seats, the Social Democratic Party - 26 seats, Ar-Namys - 25 seats,
Respublika - 23 seats and Ata-Meken - 18 seats.
Twenty-nine political parties ran in the parliamentary race.
Voter turnout was high, almost 56 percent. Nearly 2.85 million people
were eligible to vote for 120 legislators.
In compliance with the country's laws, the president has the right to
order one and the same party twice to form a majority coalition as none of
the parties won a majority. If two attempts fail, legislators have the
right to do this on their own within 45 days.
