PRESIDENT DONATES BLOOD

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The President Ts.Elbegdorj attended Saturday the Blood transfusion center to encourage the country's people to donate blood. The State head has decided to join donors movement for the reason that in the last years, hospitals are facing a shortage in blood for administering a blood transfusion for the patients during surgery or at birth.
On that day, the Center was also attended by Olimpic champion E.Badar-Uugan and by leader of popular boy band
"Kamerton" D.Bold who donated 400 gr of blood each.
After donating blood, the President said he was well informed about the issue that the Center needs over two billon togrog to buy latest technology and expressed his hope that "the sum will be allocated in the state budget".
He also has called on all the organizations to have their donors. The Olimpic champion E.Badar-Uugan and Mr. Bold have appealed young people to participate in this "very important action aimed at saving lives of Mongolians who are currently suffering from diseases".
