WB vision for industrial zones in Yemen

ADEN, Aug 04 (Saba) - The World Bank WB has unveiled a vision to
create a project of preparing models for industrial and economic
zones in Yemen, the state-run 26sep.net has said.

The announcement came at the end of a workshop that was held by the
Port Cities Development Program in collaboration with the Aden Free
Zone and aimed to see the vision put forward by the bank.

The workshop also reviewed the models of Dubai, Jeddah and Malaysia
free zones as well as suggesting a mechanism to run the Aden Free
Zone and its relationship with the airport and port.

It also discussed a WB-related report and some proposals put
forward by the Aden Free Zone and concerned authorities.
