Fisheries ministry accepts 5 international companies for equipment

SANA'A, Aug. 04 (Saba)- Minister of Fisheries Wealth Mohammed
Shamlan accepted 5 international companies to compete on the tender
of importing equipment for the factories of fisheries exports
quality in Aden, Hodeidah and Hadhramout with a total cost of $ 1.2
million.

Shamlan met here on Sunday the committee charged to prepare the
tenders of the projects that are financed by the European Union (EU)
headed by the commercial official in the European Commission in
Yemen.

During the meeting, the official briefed that the wining company
would be announced during the coming two days.

He pointed out that the committee completed all international
tenders of imports and consultative works at a total cost of € 4.5
million.

For his part, Shamlan valued the support offered by EU in the field
of fisheries in Yemen, particularity the quality of fisheries
exports and providing fisheries information network in the ministry.
