"FRIENDSHIP" MEDAL AWARDED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Pursuant to a decree of the President Ts.Elbegdorj, the "Friendship" medal has been bestowed upon Dr. Thomas Michael McCarthy, a U.S citizen.
The medal was handed Thursday by L.Dashdorj, an advisor to the State Head, to Mr. McCarthy for his significant contribution to developing the collaboration in environment protection and for deedd in environment protection in Mongolia.
