Austrian Ambassador to Vietnam
HCM City (VNA)- The Austrian Ambassador to Vietnam Georg Heindl has affirmed
his country will promote cooperation in health care with Vietnam .
Austria also desires to invest in Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City
in particular in the fields covering environment, firefighting and vocational
training, the Saigon Giai Phong (Liberated Saigon) daily quoted the ambassador as
saying at an Oct. 27 ceremony to mark Austria’s 65 th National Day
By June this year, Austria invested more than 5 million USD in eight projects in
Ho Chi Minh City .
In 2009, two-way trade turnover between Vietnam and Austria reached 256.8
