OSCE summit to fix road map for indivisible security: Kazakh pres.

ASTANA, October 28 (Itar-Tass) - The upcoming OSCE summit in Astana
due on December 1-2 will launch a new stage in the activity of the
organization, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at a conference
in Paris on Thursday.
According to the president of Kazakhstan, which holds the rotating
OSCE chairmanship, the summit "will determine strategic directions and
'the road map' of the process to establish the system of common and
indivisible security from Vancouver to Vladivostok".
The press service of the Kazakh leader quoted him as saying that "the
concept of Kazakh chairmanship, based on principles of trust, continuity,
openness and tolerance, reflects a firm bid to make a substantial
contribution to making the OSCE more efficient and adapting it to new
conditions".
"Marking a growing role in the world of new transnational threats -
international terrorism and extremism, drug trafficking, illegal
migration, as well as the aftermath of the global financial and economic
crisis, the Kazakh president put an emphasis on the importance of
multi-lateral cooperation and a need to develop new approaches to ensuring
economic security of all OSCE participants," the press service noted.

conference devoted to the 20th anniversary of the Paris Charter and
