126 athletes from 10 countries and territories
HCM City (VNA)- 126 athletes from 10 countries and territories in the region will
compete in the second Asian Aerobics Championship in Ho Chi Minh City, from December
16-18.
Mainland China, Taiwan, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Philippines, Iran, and
Mongolia will also be taking part.
The athletes will compete in men's and women's singles and doubles events as well
as team events in three different age groups. Hosts Vietnam will participate in
every event to prepare for the 2012 world championships.
Organised by the Asian Gymnastics Federation, the competition is one of biggest
events in the region and attracts Asia’s leading athletes.-Enditem
