Azeri ambassador meets Argentine FM
Baku, October 26 (AzerTAc). Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Argentina Mammad Ahmadzade met the country`s Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship Héctor Timerman.
Ahmadzade briefed the minister on the social and political situation, economic development in Azerbaijan and the country`s energy strategy, as well as Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He said official Baku considers that the conflict must be settled on the basis of Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity and norms and principles of international law.
Timerman, in turn, said the opening of Azerbaijan`s embassy in Argentina would contribute to boosting the bilateral ties. He said Argentina was keen on expansion of cooperation with Azerbaijan.
