DRAFT AMENDMENTS SUBMITTED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Draft amendments to the laws were submitted Monday to the Speaker D.Demberel on regulation of public and personal interests at state service, preventing conflicts of interest, on combating a corruption, on state service, and on crimes.
The amendments have been presented by Kh.Temuujin, E.Bat-Uul, Ya.Batsuuri, Kh.Battulga, L.Gantomor, S.Oyun, J.Sukhbaatar, J.Enkhbayar and D.Enkhbat MPs. They want to improve the governance, prevent corruption, organize the state service turning it into a public service, strengthen its transparency, responsibilities and just activities, and to promote the public interests rather than an individual's interests.
Other draft have been submitted--Health Minister S.Lambaa's to the law on control over tobacco, and Environment and Tourism Minister L.Gansukh's on approval of a national program on climate change.
