Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A ceremony has run dedicated to the first day of delivering the stamps with a portrait of the current President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj.
Present at the ceremony, which took in the Round Hall of the Central Post of Mongolia, were P.Tsagaan, a senior advisor to the State Head, and R.Battsengel, the stamp designer and painter.
Tsagaan said this stamp is the 924th type of stamps since the very first one appeared in 1924 and added that stamps with images of former Presidents P.Ochirbat, N.Bagabandi and N.Enkhbayar are issued.
"I am happy that this stamp has been added to them," he said and thanked painter R.Battsengel and designer Damdinbazar.

Mongolia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that the 6th regular meeting of the Mongolia-Turkey inter-governmental joint committee on economics and trade will run October 25-26, 2010 in Ulaanbaatar.
The meeting will be co-chaired by L.Gansukh, the Minister of Environment and Tourism, and by Bulent Arinc, Turkey's Deputy Premier and State Minister.
At the upcoming meeting the sides will share views on a present situation of the Mongolia-Turkey relations, opportunities to forward the relations and projects possible to be realized. The sides also plan to hold talks on the commercial and economic cooperation and developing collaboration in energy, infrastructure, health, tourism and other spheres.
Organizations of the two countries on development of small- and middle-sized productions will sign a memorandum, and the National Development and Innovation Committee and Turkey's State Committee for Planning will establish a cooperation memorandum.

In S.Korea, a regular meeting od spouses of diplomatic missions' heads has been held in Namyangju city, Gyeonggi Province, at initiative of E.Davaasuren, a wife of D.Gerel, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Korea.
The meeting has been co-organized by the Embassies of foreign countries and the Administration of Namyangju with a participation of wives of Ulaanbaatar's deputy Mayor, Ambassadors of 41 countries accredited to S.Korea. The gathered have visited the Mongolian village in Namyangju to get au fait with the Mongolian culture, arts and history. They have highly appreciated a concert of Mongolia artists and a performance of Mongolian horses.
The diplomatic missions in the Republic of Korea have been running various charity activities and are helping the Red Cross Society in the South Korea and low-income people.

International master of sports and a member of judo selected team S.Miaragchaa won a gold medal in the World Kurash Championship which ran October 22-24 in Astana city, Kazakhstan. Mongolia was represented there by S.Miaragchaa and B.Bold-Erdene, and a coach O.Bakhyt.
The competitions brought together 150 wrestlers from 38 countries and have ran in weight categories of -54, -60, -66, -74,
-82, -90 and +90 kilograms. The Mongolian wrestler had a bye in the first round, and then defeated his rival from Kazakhstan. At the final match, he beat a Dutch wrestler.
B.Bold-Erdene has been defeated by a Kazakh wrestler at the bronze medal match.
Having won the gold medal, S.Miaragchaa has received a cash prize of USD 10 thousand. The runner-up has been awarded USD 3,000, and bronze medalist--USD 1,500.
S.Miaragchaa and B.Bold-Erdene now are having training in Astana in order to take part in the 34th Sambo World Championship which will take place November 4-8 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Five stock trades were held at Mongolia's Stock Exchange (MSE) from October 18 to October 22. In overall, 1.8 million shares of 36 JSCs were sold totaling 535.4 million MNT trade.
Index top-20 was 12973.46 points decreasing by 240.91 units, or 1.8%, against the week earlier. The total market capitalization was set at MNT one trillion and 166.9 billion decreasing by MNT 19.0 billion or 1.6%.
Shares of "Suu" JSC (44.9%), "Olloo" (31.9%) and "Mongol shiltgeen" (20.2%) were increased, but, "Almaas" (15.0%), "Mon it buligaar" (10.0%), and "Tavilga" (7.4%) JSCs were decreased at the MSE. A total of 36 shares were sold. Of them, rate of 11 shares were increased, rate of 16 shares were decreased, and rate of nine shares were stable.
Shares of "Khokh gan" JSC (1.0 million units), "Hai Bi Oil" (312.9 thousand units) and "Hermes center" (203.8 thousand units) JSCs were actively traded in terms of trading volume, but in terms of trading value "Bi Di Sek" (MNT 160.9 million), "Khokh gan" (MNT 157.5 million) and "Hai Bi Oil" (MNT 54.1 million).

Grand Master of the FMJD (World Draughts Federation) D.Erdenebileg won gold medal in the 5th 10x10 Draughts Asian Championship which finished Sunday in the Olympic House.
D.Erdenebileg has defeated his opponent from Uzbekistan A.Artikov, and won the Asian champion title for the fourth time. Thanks to this, D.Erdenebileg has been qualified to take part in the Draughts World Championship to run May of 2011 in Netherlands. Another Mongolian R.Manlai has won a bronze medal by defeating a Kazakh G.Sarsekeyev.
At the women's contest, gold and silver medals went to Uzbek players. A Mongolian M.Nyamjargal won the bronze medal and has gained a title of FMJD master.
