SOCAR chess club ranks fourth in European Club Cup in Plovdiv
Baku, October 25 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s men`s SOCAR chess club finished fourth in the European Club Cup held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria after drawing 3-3 with Russia`s SSM in the final round.
The tournament drew 49 men`s and 16 women`s clubs from European countries.
Economist-SGSEU from Saratov, Russia became a winner.
In the women`s section, Cercle d'Echecs de Monte Carlo climbed the highest step on the podium.
