GCC Standardization Organization signs Contract

Riyadh, Aug. 02, SPA -- Gulf Cooperation Council Standardization
Organization (GSO) and Australian National Organization of Adoption
of Laboratories signed here today a contract to provide specialized
consulting services to initiate the first steps to set up an
accreditation centre for the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

The Gulf Cooperation Council Standardization Organization (GSO)
Secretary General (Acting), Saud Al-Askar delivered a speech in which
he explained the importance of promoting free trade among GCC states
and also between the GCC countries and the world.

Following that, the contract signing ceremony took place between the
two parties.
