Saudi Gulf Exhibition for Luxurious Goods in UK inaugurated

London, Aug. 02, SPA -- The First Saudi Gulf Exhibition for Luxurious
Goods was inaugurated here today and will last for two days with the
participation of 60 Saudi, Gulf and British companies.

Also, a number of Gulf and global designers participate in the
exhibition.

Dr. Afnan Al-Shuaibi, Secretary General and Executive President of
the Arab British Chamber of Commerce, said the goal of London's first
of its kind fair is to strengthen and enhance the commercial
relations between the markets of the member states of the GCC and the
United Kingdom, an important trade partner for the Arab world and a
favorite destination for Arab tourists.

She added that the exhibition provides a chance for business
community from both sides to meet and exchange benefits.

The fair will also exhibit the world's most precious Abaya
(Saudi-Gulf women body flowing outer-cover) expected to fetch more
than Sterling Pounds 175,000, part of which will go to the Islamic
Relief Organization, according to organizers.

For his part, Osama Al-Awam, member of the exhibition's Organizing
body, said the event will be held annually upon support of the Arab
British Chamber of Commerce.

Hundreds of visitors are expected to drop at the exhibition over the
first two days and witness the conclusion of sizable deals among
international companies.
