JAMBI'S EXPORTS IN JUNE DOWN 3.97 PCT

Jambi, Indonesia, Aug 2 (ANTARA) - Jambi province's exports fell 3.97 percent to US$68.82 million in June 2008 from US$71.66 million a month earlier.
Industrial goods contributed US$64.17 million to the June exports, followed by agricultural produce US$1.92 million and mining product US$2.73 million, Head of the Jambi Provincial Office of the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) Dyan Pramono said on Saturday.
Singapore remained the biggest market for Jambi's exports with US$18.09 million, followed by Malaysia US$15.74 million, Japan US$12.27 million, the United States US$5.03 million, South Korea US$2.96 million, and China US$2.37 million, she said.
Compared to May, exports to China, Singapore, the United States and Japan fell in June, she said.
