D.ERDENEBILEG WINS ASIAN DRAUGHTS CHAMPIONSHIP
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A Grand Master of the FMJD (World Draughts Federation) D.Erdenebileg won gold medal in the 5th 10x10 Draughts Asian Championship which finished Sunday in the Olympic House.
The Mongolian draughts player D.Erdenebileg has defeated his opponent from Uzbekistan A.Artikov, and won the Asian champion title for the fourth time. Thanks to winning the Asian championship, D.Erdenebileg has been qualified to take part in the Draughts World Championship to be held in May of 2011 in the Netherlands. Another Mongolian R.Manlai has won a bronze medal by defeating a Kazakh player G.Sarsekeyev.
At the women's contest, gold and silver medals went to Uzbekistani players. A Mongolian player M.Nyamjargal has won the bronze medal, and has gained a title of FMJD master.
