POLICE QUESTIONING WITNESSES OVER MOLOTOV COCKTAIL CASE

Bandung, W Java, Indonesia Aug 2 (ANTARA) - Police are questioning a number of witnesses in connection with a molotov cocktail attack on the secretariat of the Justice and Prosperity Party (PKS) on Jl Kinanti here on Friday night.
"We have not found any clue to its perpetrator yet. But we have interrogated a number of witnesses including the PKS secretariat's security guard, Sutrisno," Chief of the Central Bandung Police Resort Adjunct Chief Commissioner Arief Ramdhani said on Saturday.
He said police only found two bottles thrown at the building's yard with one of them broken. There was no sign of the wick ignited.
"The bottles filled with kerosene do not have the same shape as a molotov bomb because not only the wick is separated from the kerosene but also there is no sign of the wick ignited," he said.
He said he believed an unidentified person had pelted the bottles filled with kerosene at the building. "We cannot yet establish the motive behind the case because it is still under an investigation."
