Azeri Consul speaks about Azerbaijan at Chapman University
Los-Angeles, October 23 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani consul to Los-Angeles Elin Suleymanov delivered a lecture on Azerbaijan for students and teachers at the Champan University.
The diplomat gave a background of the history, geopolitical position of Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and its impact on the regional development. He noted the Azerbaijani leadership pursues a balanced foreign policy and achieved great economic successes.
He briefed the students on the Armenia`s aggressive policy against Azerbaijan, which resulted in occupation of 20% of Azerbaijani lands and displacement of over a million people.
Suleymanov underlined official Yerevan was left out of huge projects because of its non-constructive foreign policy.
The consul also told of environmental projects being implemented in the country.
