MONGOLIA AND MACAU TO COMBAT TOGETHER HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The governments of Mongolia and of China's special administrative region Macau have established an agreement on cooperation in combating a human trafficking. The inter-governmental agreement was inked October 18 in Macau by D.Tsogtbaatar, the State Secretary of Mongolia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and by Cheong Kuoc Va, Macau's Secretary for Security.
The agreement has five chapters and 20 clauses all about a development of ties and collaboration between organizations of the two countries in combating the human trafficking, protecting victims of the crime and transferring them to their countries. It is considered that the agreement is to significantly contribute to the world community's endeavor to protect human rights and to prevent children and women sexual abuse.
Present at the signing ceremony were Ts.Sukhbaatar, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the People's Republic of China, and S.Ganbat, a head of Mongolia's Police Department of Crimes.
