INTRODUCTION SEMINAR HELD
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On Thursday, a seminar ran to announce results of a "Gobi region labour force professionalism, training and job market research" in the Continental hotel. It has been co-organized by the project "Professional edication and the training" of Mongolia's Millennium Challenge fund, Sustainability PTY company and Center of Policy and Research.
This research, done March-October 2010, has covered 17,773 people of Umnugobi, Dundgobi, Dornogobi and Gobisumber aimags. The financing was made in accordance with the cooperation contract--the "Professional edication and the training project" gave its 43 percent, and 57 percent were issued by the "Oyu Tolgoi" company.
The main goal of the project is to provide by the full information the organizations of professional edication and training and to research a future of human resourses.
Based on the research outcome, a Center of professional training and production will be given rights to work out training programmes and skills development plan, whereas the "Oyu Tolgoi" and similar to it companies will formulate their human resourses development strategy.
The participants of the research and the locals consider that the quality professional edication and training will play significant role in increasing the locality's profit.
