DRAUGHTS ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIP IS CONTINUING

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A member of the draughts selected team and a Grand Master of the FMJD (World Draughts Federation) D.Erdenebileg won a gold medal in the blitz contest of the 5th 10x10 Draughts Asian Championship running in the Olympic House--the headquarters of Mongolia's National Olympic Committee (MonNOC).
D.Erdenebileg has been followed by D.Battulga (Mongolia) and Artikov (Uzbekistan). At the women's blitz contest, Altenhua (China) has won a gold medal. She has been followed by B.Tuvshinzaya and E.Mandakhnaran (both Mongolia).
A FNJD Grand Master Artikov from Uzbekistan is leading the contest after the third game of the competitions with six points followed by D.Erdenebileg, D.Battulga and Sarsekeyev (Kazakhstan) with five points each.
S.Yuldasheva, N.Bozorova (Uzbekistan), Ts.Enkhzaya and B.Tuvshinzaya (Mongolia) are leading the women's contest with four points each.
On Friday, D.Erdenebileg will compete with Abdul Ali (Afghanistan), D.Battulga--with Sarsekeyev. The current leader Artikov will face his rival from China. The Mongolian woman player Ts.Enkhzaya is going to compete with Zahra Hussein from Afghanistan.
