Azerbaijan ready to host 13th Islamic Summit
Baku, October 20 (AzerTAc). An event was held Tuesday in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh on Baku`s hosting, in 2014, the OIC`s 13th Summit of heads of state and government.
Attending the event called “Azerbaijan is ready to host the 13th Islamic Summit”, Azeri Deputy Foreign Minister Vagif Sadigov said his country attaches special importance to developing relations with the OIC and its members. He noted the organization plays great role in raising the world community`s awareness about the realities of Azerbaijan. Sadigov added Azerbaijan was ready to host the 13th Islamic Summit in 2014.
As part of his visit, Sadigov met OIC Secretary-General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu to discuss prospects for cooperation.
