Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A project on exploring and purifying of the "Khargia" drainage has started under the mutually agreed consensual contract between the Governments of Mongolia and Czech Republic.
Destroying and removing of the silt and dirt is to start next year after laboratory analysis and execution research.
The "Research and purifying pollution of 'Khargia' complex factory" tittled project has been financed by the National Development Agency of Czech Republic. It has been realized in 2010-2012 within the frames of cooperation programme between the sides. The Czech "Deconta" company has been maned as the work executor.
The Minister of Environment and Tourism L.Gansukh has met the "Deconta" representation to share opinions about the "Khargia"'s drainage and the works planned.
The "Khargia", located to the south from UB city, has already become a highly polluted object due to refining wastes of leather factories. The "Deconta" intends to begin its work with researching hydrogeological, hydrobiologicasl and purifying opportunities at the "Khargia". Then it will determine a level of the pollution, test samples of the dirt and silt, and choose the most appropriate methods of cleaning.
The last stage of the project will be detoxifying the wastes and burying them in special places allotted.
