OSCE observation mission visits Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic
Baku, October 20 (AzerTAc). Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov met with head of the observation mission of OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, Ambassador Audrey Glover and lawyer Marianne Scope.
The upcoming parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan were discussed at the meeting.
Talibov said work on preparation for the upcoming election to Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Republic and Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan was completed. He said international observers are also going to visit Nakhchivan. The long-term observers got into contact with the local election structures, Chairman added.
Ambassador Glover told of aim of the visit to autonomous republic.
